Since my summer is chaotic with work, I wait until the early weekends of September, since its still hot and the water is ‘swimmable’ for the most part, to go to the beach. I also look forward to the cute ‘n quaint Labor Day street fair in Rutherford, the quiet, suburban New Jersey nook of a town that I reside in.
