Alyssa Taylor, a senior at Marymount Manhattan College, studies International Studies and Political Science. She is a member of her school’s student government and student newspaper, and currently interns at Senator Charles E. Schumer’s New York City office, where she works on constituent issues, including immigration, veteran’s affairs, and disaster relief.
After she graduates, she plans on taking a year off to travel and prepare herself for law school. Ultimately, Alyssa wants to pursue a career in public policy in which she aspires to one day be a part of legislation that provides crucial social benefits to all American citizens.
