Amy Sciarretto is proud to be a Jersey girl. She grew up right outside of Philadelphia, but now resides just outside of NYC, so metro areas have always influenced her funky style and her music-centered lifestyle. Amy works for Roadrunner Records, a rock music record label, doing hard rock radio and video promotion; she works with radio stations and video shows all over the country to make sure they support and play her artists. She is also rock music journalist, having spent the past 13 years writing about hard rock music for national publications. She’s served as CMJ’s Loud Rock Editor for the past 8 years, and also serves as editor to Hit Parader Magazine. She is a columnist for Revolver and Chord, and contributes several articles per issue to Outburn, Decibel, and Metal Maniacs. Amy is a rock chick who lives to rock and rocks to live, and she attends at least 125 rock concerts a year. Also, Amy is a girly girl with a weakness for super shiny lip gloss, black eyeliner, and anything vanilla scented.
