Kim Taylor

Co-Editor-in-Chief/Co-Publisher & Travel Editor

Kim Taylor has worked as a feature film scriptwriter, advertising copywriter, nonfiction author, editor and journalist for numerous magazines and newspapers, including Newsweek Int'l and The New York Times. She's the co-founder of The Copy Lab (www.thecopylabnyc.com), has also worked for various advertising agencies (Alt NY, Meyer & Associates NY, BCA NY, Time Inc. Strategic Communications, Salt, Landor) and teaches Advertising Copywriting for Media Bistro in New York City. She garnered an Honorable Mention at the Tribeca Film Festival for a script based on the life of Marie Curie.

She began writing for BN NYC in 2004, shortly after it was founded, and purchased the BN NYC site in 2011 with co-EIC, Candice Sabatini. She enjoys her co-workers at BN NYC - a talented, creative, warm and supportive group of people who constantly inspire.

B. Kim has an M.A. in Media Studies from the New School, and she and her husband are raising two wonderful sons in Greenwich Village.
