Oh, the cat eye flicks! It’s one of the most beautiful and most requested techniques among makeup artists and at beauty counters. It’s also the most difficult to achieve. It’s incredibly easy to mess up the flick by going too thick, by using the wrong formula product, or by struggling to achieve symmetry when you use your non-dominant hand to do a flick for the other eye. Trust me, I know. I do a cat eye daily. Some days, I am totally on. Other days, my flick is bunk and I want to erase it and start over, but can’t due to time constraints and, you know, having a life.

However, ABLE Cosmetics Cat Eye 101 Eyeliner seeks to eliminate all of these headaches when it comes to doing the desired cat-eye flick. You will create a flick worthy of flick queen Alexa Chung. Yes, really. This redesigned liquid liner has a rubber edge attached to the cap that serves as a guide and it actually assists you in creating that ultra killer flick.

It takes a little bit of practice to get used to using the rubbery guide, which, as I mentioned, lives on the cap. But once you invest the time necessary to play around with it, you will get the hang of it. There are so many products out there that are meant to assist with creating the flick, from the beautyblender guide to the Eyeko guitar pick. You have to find the one that works for you and just go with it.

The ABLE cap keeps things super streamlined. I dig it, I use it, and I recommend it.
