We all love our beautyblenders for buffing and diffusing liquid or cream products into skin, resulting in an airbrushed effect. But there are some days when we just don’t feel like dealing with a damp, egg-shaped sponge, choosing which product to use, and then cleaning and storing everything until tomorrow morning. NARS new Velvet Matte Stick Foundation is the perfect, dual-ended tool for those days when you want to swipe, buff, and go or simply don’t have the time to indulge your usual routine.

There’s a medium coverage matte foundation stick on one end and a built-in, spongy applicator on the other. That way, you can dab it on problem spots, apply all over, or use it for touchups. The fact that you have product on one end and a spongy, blending tool on the other allows you trim time and effort from your daily routine, especially when you are running late.

It’s just really easy and that’s why I love it. Of course, it’s NARS, so the formula is luxe AF and doesn’t feel heavy or cakey. It’s also totally buildable.

The color range is super extensive and inclusive, which is something I co-sign again and again and again. Those of us with unique or hard-to-match skintones will feel represented by this range. It’s important for women of all colors, skintones, and backgrounds to be able to look at a makeup range and see themselves represented, and NARS is doing just that with this time-saving product.
