Dewy glow is great. I love a little luminosity on the high points of my cheeks, delivered via a cream product, especially during winter doldrums. But in the summer, when it’s sticky and steamy, and my skin is oilier than usual, I prefer a matte, shine-free complexion or it looks like, you know, sweat. No 7 Beautifully Matte Foundation with SPF 15 for normal and oily skin offers medium to full coverage — you can add as little or as much product as you need to cover blemishes, or to even out the canvas known as your face. I use a damp beautyblender or sponge — I love these cute, squishy, figure-eight shaped sponges from The Creme Shop, a K-beauty brand — and squirt few drops right on them too.
Then, I dab and blend a couple drops of this foundation on my skin when I want a soft, matte, shine-free visage. You can go to town by using more and buffing. The end result is velvety, not flat or dull. You lose the shine, gain evenness of tone, and pesky blemishes, pores, and other imperfections are concealed.

TIP: I recommend pairing a matte complexion with a glossy lip to balance texture. Too much matte or too much shine is…well…too much.
