Beauty

Fall is right around the corner. Let’s prepare our makeup bags early, shall we?

Beauty Blender Micro Mini: My jaw almost dropped when I first received these darling little sponges. The two of them literally fit in the palm of your hand. I am already a fanatic with the standard, egg-shaped Beauty Blenders, so I was curious to see how this one could possibly compare. I discovered it’s not meant to be compared but rather to accommodate the bigger, pinker original! This little baby is best used under the eye, in the corner of the eye, the lids, under your brow bones, the sides of the nose, to cover blemishes, you name it. I am a huge fan of tiny little brushes, and now I have my tiny little Beauty Blender Micro Mini!

Nars Mandore Satin Lip Pencil: Nars makes the best shades of red, seriously! I’ve been a fan of these lip pencils for many, many years and always have a few shades of red pencils in my purse. This new shade of red from their new fall line is deep, mysterious and extremely sexy looking. This is my new “go to” red when I really intend on making a statement.

Cargo Color Sticks: I just love, love and love products that are multi-taskers. These new color sticks from Cargo are phenoms. They are oil-free, cream color sticks that blend effortlessly to your eyes, cheeks and lips for a natural, modern, extremely fresh look. The cream-to-powder formula sets for an exceptionally long-wearing finish and never settles into fine lines. The dial-up stick makes application a breeze, too. Bingo!

Mabelline Color Elixir Lip Glosses: I cannot believe I am just finding out about these glosses, I mean…Holy bargain, Batman! These are as professional and luxurious as any lip product can get. A trio of concentrates delivers the color of a lipstick, the cushiony care of a balm and the glass-like shine of a gloss. At $8.99, how ever can you go wrong??

Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick: Packaged in a way that is so sleek, so sexy, with such a fun and fantastic color range, these are the perfect fall textures and colors for this coming fall season. Use these pencils as liners, shadows, bases, you name it. The pigmentation is really something else, so a little goes a long way. I love to draw all over my lid and buff out with a nice synthetic eye shadow brush.

Lorac Pro Palette 2: My favorite “go to” palette has just released its second to die for, perfect eye shadow palette. The first palette was a perfect blend of earth-toned, warm, satin and matte shadows textures. This new one has the same features as the first, with a slightly cooler feel that you can still create endless looks with. It is extremely thin and lightweight and comes with a perfect primer to boot.

Cargo HD Picture Perfect Mascara: Yes, tons of cleaver mascaras go to market all of the time, but this one is really special…Each and every lash is enhanced, lengthened and beautifully defined with this creamy smooth formula and distinctive precision brush.

Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil: These are some seriously ass kickin’ lip pencils. Matte products are a bit more sophisticated and the chubby pencils mean there is less maintenance than lip gloss and traditional lipsticks. Granted, these are some eye poppin’ colors that have an extremely bold finish and a long lasting modern matte look, but the trick is to control how much you apply by having fully moisturized and blotted lips and preferably a lip primer. I really like that there is an extensive range of colors, and there are many deep shades, so women of every single skin tone can find their perfect shades!
