By Kerry Malouf

This February, our columnist, celebrity makeup artist Kerry Malouf let the (faux) fur fly. “BSABLES new collection of elongated vests and cropped jackets are giving us that warm fuzzy feeling,” Malouf said. Designer Sable Sabnoun styled this shoot, while Keegan Gibbs photographed it. The makeup was done by Malouf in Malibu Canyon.

“Once upon a time, you come across a new drugstore makeup collection that blows your mind,” Malouf said. While she normally works with higher end products, sometimes, a mass market brand is worthy of her attention, as these photos deftly illustrate. “Revlon’s new collection is comparable to any top of the line collection I’ve used,” Malouf said.

“For this shoot, I used Revlon Custom Eyes, which was exactly what we needed to create a beautiful smoky sultry eye,” Malouf revealed. “Sable’s vision for the makeup was clean yet sexy makeup to go along with her exotic new faux fur collection, which is just launching at Elyse Walker in the Palisades. We shot in Malibu Canyon and as you can see, we achieved our desired look.”

Malouf used Revlon Custom Eyes in Naturally Glamorous. “The palette has five shades and actually tells you, step-by-step how to achieve a smoky eye, which is very cool being that most girls want to know how! I framed Chelsea’s eyes with Revlon Smoky Crayon in Bronze Smoke.
This crayon is a must have! I love it! I also blended over the Bronze with Steel Smoke Crayon at the end, which looked amazing! These Crayons are super soft so you can draw a thin line or thick and smudge with your fingers or brush. Revlon’s new mascara is different than any I have tried. You can twist the wand to #1 for Length and Drama or to #2 for Length & Definition. We of course chose drama. Last I used lip gloss in Pink Ice,” finishing off a clean and sexy look.
