Inglot, I luv you. This hip, indie makeup brand has created 19 new matte products as part of its Inglot Matte It Be Collection that are pure, shine-free perfection. For a twist on the usual black, sooty and smoky eye, the Kohl Pencil in 07 is a slate gray that smudges like a dream and remains edgy despite being… not jet black. It’s a fresh, fun way to update the smoky eye, removing some of black’s harshness but still keeping the overall look legit.

I rimmed my lower lash line and then smudged vigorously with my pointer finger for an “I just woke up in someone else’s bed after a late, long, and fun night” look. This creamy formula pretty much asks you to make a mess with it. Draw a line along your upper lash line and then go to town with your finger. Let the oils mix with the product and you’ve got yourself an expert, rocker chick smudge.

Inglot’s matte shadows are also super velvety and impart serious color payoff. Actually, 07 is even more flawless when paired with AMC Eyeliner Gel in 69. It’s a smooth, cocoa shade, also perfect for the construction of a smudgy, stay-put smoky eye without relying solely on the blessed black. The brown and gray shades mix beautifully and soften a smoky eye without dulling or sacrificing its sexaaaaayness.

Oh, and the O2M Breathable Nail Enamel in 535 from Inglot is a soft, matte black that I’ll be wearing throughout the holiday season. Sorry, no Santa or Elf nail art, or red and green nails for this girl. I hereby pledge that my manii and pedi will be as dark as my heart this holiday season, thanks to this bottle of lacquer.

Dineh Mohajer founded Hard Candy. You know Hard Candy when it was a department store brand, before Walmart scooped it up and downscaled it. Mohajer’s Smith & Cult brand is… well, luscious. I have fallen deeply in lust with The Shining Lip Lacquer in The Lovers. It’s a soft, melon-y, blushed out pink that adds a sheer wash of color on lips. The texture is dreamy — no sticky, gloppy messes here. I never, ever want to take it off or be without it in my back pocket or in my bag. Oh, and there’s a story behind it to. So immerse yourself in the site and the stories.

My face loves when I smooth creamy products over it. Like LaRoche Posay’s Effaclar BB Blur. It’s an absorbent, oil-zapping, pore-erasing cream mousse that evens out my skin tone. I apply it with a moist Beauty Blender and my skin becomes a flawless canvas. No splotches. No redness. No lines. No nothin’. It’s light and airy, like an angel’s kiss. A little goes a long way for complexion perfection.

Japonesque’s Pixelated Color Eye Shadow Palette is as multidimensional as it gets, thanks to micronized color pigments. WTF does that mean? It means you can mix and match, add depth and dimension by pairing different textures and formulas for a custom look each and every time. I love adding a little color splash to the mattes for an “oh yeah, I did that” finish.

Worried about things like chapped lips or consuming too many calories this holiday season? Well, you can combat BOTH those issues with one swipe of ChapStick’s Pumpkin Pie limited edition balm. Delish and flavorful, with none of the guilt or cold weather flakes that are such a nuisance during this time of year. It’s yummy and mega moisturizing.
