We’re not going to go as far as christening orange the new pink, but on the Prada and Balenciaga runways, the fresh-squeezed, uber-juicy shade was dominant. You can wake up your makeup this spring with wearable, realway-appropriate orange hues as long as you use them sparingly. Make Up Forever’s Glossy Full Couleur #2 is neon bright in the tube, but the minty fresh gloss translates to sheer (and tingly) on lips. It’ll look like you just got done enjoying an Orange popsicle. MUF’s Eye Shadow #18 is also garishly, almost clownishly bright in the pan, but when swiped over the lids and buffed accordingly, it’ll enhance your everyday look with a surprising burst of color, so we suggest pairing it with black liquid liner. If you daring, you can boldly go where most women don’t with this shade, too. We recommend toning down the rest of your look whenever you use this hue, whether on lips or eyes. Have fun, too.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, whether on her finger, around her neck or now, on her eyelashes! Stila Black Diamond Mascara is black mascara swirled with crushed black diamond powder and shimmer. So in addition to lengthening and “lushening” your lashes, they will also sparkle with shimmer. Pair with matte black eyeliner and you’ll be good to go. Quick! Easy! Gorgeous.

Target may be a discount store to some, but its collaborations with Jemma Kidd, Napoleon Perdis and Petra Strand bring a high-end, department store edge to the store’s cosmetics aisles. Starting this month, each line expands with more glamorous products. The price tag is a wee bit steeper than one might expect, but the products are totally worthy.

JK Jemma Kidd Show Stopper Water Resistant Bronzer provides sunkissed sophistication, thanks to the matte formula. It can also be used to contour cheekbones. The extra large palette will last you through Labor Day, too, all the while dolling up your vanity with its cute, logo-embossed packaging.

The Perfect-Pout Exfoliating Treatment Balm brings winter lips back to life. Micro-fine sugar granules exfoliate, while the vitamin-drenched balm softens and conditions.

Pixi by Petra Strand’s Smokey Eye Primer is a water-resistant, long-wearing, click-pen which serves a dual purpose: it’ll intensify your smoky eye look and aid powder shadow in staying put for hours on end. You can even use it under a lighter color for 3-D effect, according to Strand.

Pixi’s Flawless & Poreless face primer is colorless and lightweight, but works overtime as it minimizes pores, smoothes lines and creates a silky canvas for your concealer and/or foundation. It’s so light it won’t feel like you’re wearing another layer of product, either!

The Silky Eye Pen comes in six colors and the waterproof formula doesn’t budge an inch, nor does it pull that oh-so-sensitive skin around your eyes and eyelids. The plush, creamy texture is perfectly safe for lining your inner waterline, and the Lumi Lux Bronze Palette is tucked in vintage, pull-out drawer packaging and houses a petal pink shade. I used it more like a blush on the apples of my cheeks and the result was natural and “first crush” flush!

Napoleon Perdis’ NP Set additions are palette-heavy. The Romance Set is a flower-inspired, spring-ready collection of 18 eye shadows, four blushes and four lip glosses, along with three brushes. Everything you need is contained in a single book form! Soooooo convenient for travel or touch ups.

Glamorista Mascara conditions, volumizes and curls, thanks to its molded wand, which sculpts and shapes. On the Double Pens are also ultra convenient. The mascara/concealer combo is excellent for touch ups, while the liquid liner/coral blush pairing screams “instant ’60s sex kitten” with minimal effort.
