Bridal Beauty - Flirty/Sexy

By Erin Williams

The Sexy/Flirty bride loves love, and loves her shimmer. With a smirk on her face, she may look like she’s up to something? Or just was. Maybe she woke up looking refreshed? Or maybe she and the groom were caught snogging in the linen closet, just before that walk down the aisle. Either way, we know she’s been up to no good.

Eyes:
Laura Mercier Shimmer Shadows. The perfect base color is Sandstone. A neutral wash laden with shimmery flecks is just the subtle touch she wants, to draw attention to her eyes. It’s all about the implications with this little flirt!

Lancome Artliner. For the perfect top lash definition, our little flirt turns to the Artliner pen. This easy to use liner can get as thin or thick as you want it. It goes on sooth and has film-forming features to help it stay on.

Lancome Hypnose Custom Volume Mascara. Just what our little vixen needs, to hypnotize her man. With every stroke, your lashes will intensify. There’s no smudging or smearing. After all, it is your wedding day. You don’t wanna look like a raccoon do you? Hypnotize them. ($21)

Cheeks/Base:
Yves Saint Laurent Radiance Foundation evens out skin tone and creates an ideal canvas for their Touche Blush. The blush is made of ultra fine powder and is easy to use. All you have to do is apply your color to the apples of your cheeks. No mess, no brush to carry. With the sponge applicator attached to the container, YSL has thought of everything for you. Saks recommends Shade #3 to give your skin a healthy warm glow.

Lips:
Dior Addict Lipstick. Nothing but the best for Miss Flirtation. Full of shine, these lipsticks are the ideal for keeping your lips looking irresistibly lush, and the color stays true way past “I do.” I suggest Parallel Rose for your deceivingly sweet smile.

Dior Lipliner Pencil. No bride should go without a lipliner. It helps give shape to your mouth and keeps your lipstick on longer. Heather Rose is the only color you’ll ever need. It gives your lips definition, without overwhelming color. You can use this product with your Parallel Rose lipstick, a gloss, or on it’s own-filling in your pouty little mouth.

Fragrance:
Guerlain L’Instant Guerlain. Want your scent to sparkle as much as you do on this special day? L’Instant Parfum is full of light scents of sweet honey, magnolia and citrus. As you walk down the aisle, the guest will not only be captivated by the way you look, but by the way you smell as well. You go, you sexy thang.

Bridal Beauty - Flirty/Sexy

By Erin Williams

The flirty/sexy bride has got it and she is not afraid to flaunt it…with class of course. Her look is fresh and sexy with a dewy lightly flushed face and shimmery eyes lined with smoldering black accents. Vintage, lacy dresses as well as strappy diaphanous slips characterize this look. A flirty bride has been known to sprinkle diamonds in her hair and flowers everywhere else.

Eyes:
Estee Lauder Pure Color eye shadows ($20; www.esteelauder.com) add a subtle sparkle and last all day. The following colors work well with almost every skin tone and will compliment those cute frilly dresses. Sugar Cube, a shimmery white, works well as an all over base and highlighter. Champagne Bubble, a pinkish golden tone works well as a base and highlighter to complement any ivory or off-white dresses. Mocha Cup, a lighter slightly metalic brown and Espresso Cup a darker matte brown work well in the crease and corner of your lid.

Makeup Forever Color Liner in black ($19; www.sephora.com) wears well and is the perfect dramatic compliment to a subtle shimmery eye. For a pencil liner Estee Lauder’s innovative new Artist’s Eye Pencil ($17.50; www.esteelauder.com) comes with a special moveable silicone finger grip that gives precision lining more control.

Finally, finish the eyes with a generous helping of Helena Rubenstien Long Lash mascara ($22; www.helenarubinstein.com) which comes in the sexiest gold mascara tube.

Cheeks:
The cheek should have a flirty blush of color. Bourjois makes an amazing little Pastel Joues Blusher ($13; at www.sephora.com), which somehow manages to smell divine. Two very versatile and subtle shades are pink Rose De Jaspe and Abricote. These blushers are surprisingly small and come with cute, effective and initially baffling brushes. Also, be sure to mix Urban Decay Special Sauce ($12; www.urbandecay.com) with your foundation and body lotion, or dap directly onto your cheeks, nose, brow bone and décolletage…anywhere you want a fresh glow without those annoying juvenile glitter particles.

Lips:
I am constantly amazed at how pleasurable and easy to wear Dior Addict Colorplay lipstick ($23; www.sephora.com) and gloss formulas are. Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in a Lick of Taffy #151 ($22; www.sephora.com) is no exception.

Also, for a sexy look with just the right amount of color saturation, Stila lip gloss in peach shine ($17; www.gloss.com) does the job and then some.

Fragrance:
Chantecaille’s newest fragrance, Le Jasmin de Chantecaille ($80-125; www.neimanmarcus.com) is irresistibly sexy and incredibly long-wearing. This Jasmin, Tuberose and Magnolia based scent exudes warmth and sensuality. The fragrance was created from an incredibly rare strain of Jasmine that must be harvested by hand and is one of the most expensive flowers in existence…and you are well worth it!
