The Rose Garden at the California-based City of Hope is a respite for cancer patients that has inspired many people, including those at Creative Nail Design. Hope Heals, a limited edition hand and body lotion, gives a hint of the 52 varieties of roses growing in the garden while nourishing skin with Vitamins A and E as well as Aloe Vera. Only available September 1, 2005 until October 31, 2005, $2.00 of the $9.95 total will be donated to City of Hope to further their breast cancer treatment, research, and education programs. Since 1998 Creative Nail Design has raised over two million dollars for City of Hope through product sales, product donations to care centers, fundraising events, and cash donations.

City of Hope is one of a handful of Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the US where over 300 physicians and scientists work to find the causes and cures for cancer and other life-threatening diseases, including diabetes and HIV/AIDS. Located on 112 gorgeous acres in Duarte, California it has been a home to millions of people battling life-threatening diseases since 1913 and with one out of every $5 of their operating budget coming from private philanthropic support, it looks like they’ll be helping people for years to come.
