I recently attended an event for Fresh’s new product launches, including the Black Tea, Soy, and Lotus Youth collections. Fresh co-founder Lev Glazman, who originally comes from Russia, explained how they came up with the idea of incorporating the Black Tea ingredient into a skin care collection.

Black Tea in general was (and still is) an obsession for most Russians…even more so than the British!

His fascination accelerated when he first tried Kombucha, a drink made with fermented black tea. In addition to being a company that strives to maintain beauty and tradition, Fresh founders started to study the ingredient in its entirety, for all of its potential benefits, and what they found was incredible.

Black Tea Age-Delay Instant Infusion: Help protect and moisturize with this health elixir. This next generation treatment toner has a lightweight-silky texture and is proven to provide 24 hours worth of moisture and significant protection from the environmental stresses. Additional research has shown to even skin, refine texture and boost radiance.

Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate with Noni Juice: An innovation that marries traditional Asian medicine with cutting edge technology, this treatment will help to repair and prevent signs of aging while moisturizing, restoring and almost instantly firm up the eye area. The cooling formula also works to reduce dark circles and puffiness and revive tired eyes; it’s a sure favorite for Lev. Noni Juice is a powerful new ingredient introduced to Fresh and is rich in sugar and antioxidants. The juice comes from a Japanese super fruit known to retain and increase moisture, and improve the appearance of the skin.

Lotus Youth Preserve Radiance Lotion With Super 7 Complex: Super charged for super radiance, this lightweight, fast absorbing formula instantly illuminates the complexion while helping to deliver a 24-hour, radiant glow. The formula is further enriched with Star Fruit Extract, another new ingredient to Fresh. The leaves of this exotic Asian plant have many medicinal properties and the extract is proven to protect skin from free radicals, improving elasticity (tightness of the face) and reducing early signs of aging.

Soy Conditioning Eye Makeup Remover: Soothe and remove waterproof makeup with this breakthrough concentrate. It gently and effectively removes all traces of makeup, including waterproof products, while treating the lashes and moisturizing the skin around the eye area. The innovative formula features soothing mallow extract and toning cornflower extract for a one-of-a-kind texture that softens and refreshes the skin without leaving behind any oily residue. Glazman and co-founder Alina Roytberg pioneered the use of soy in the beauty industry in the ’90s when there was much hype about soy health benefits, but not so much on the skincare side.

Cucumber Baie Oval Soap: You can gently cleanse with a light, green scent. It’s a vegetable-based soap that’s enriched with moisturizing shea butter and infused with the sheer green scent. Lev drew his inspiration for this blend of crisp greens and sheer florals from an early morning walk. Mmmm!
