What does it take to transform Hollywood’s sexiest starlets into stiletto-wearing, badass beauties? A crew of talented makeup artists, of course. For the action picture’s sweltering summer 2003 sequel, a crack team of beauty experts helped the glam gals get their man (or, in this case, fellow female private eye).
Because the Angels are masters of disguise on-screen, makeup artists Erin Ayanian, Bonita DeHaven, Robin Fredriskz, Kimberly Greene and Jo Streitle had to whip up everything from novice nuns to cheeky burlesque dancers for Full-Throttle.
Here, BeautyNewsNYC.com peruses the team’s makeup kit and shares their tricks of the trade on how to look like Drew, Cameron, Lucy and Demi. Read on and get some action Angel-style.
Mission: Bubbly Beauty
In Full Throttle, Drew has some good clean fun with her gal pals while scrubbing down a classic car in her bikini (talk about gratuitous action). The former Firestarter braves the spray cycle with crimson disco diva lips and dewy skin thanks to makeup artist Kimberly Greene. Here, find out what goodies Greene used for Drew’s glam ’70s-inspired look.
How to Get Drew’s Look:
Step 1: Even out your skin tone with Giorgio Armani Cosmetics Luminous Silk Foundation #5.
Step 2: Blend Delux Coral Peach Flush Stick onto your cheekbones with your fingertips.
Step 3: Dab the golden shade from Senna Finger Paints quad in Angel Face (available at http://www.sennacosmetics.com) onto lids. Smudge Nars Cream Eye Shadow in Decameron into the lash line. Apply two layers of waterproof Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Black, so you don’t have to worry about the spray cycle.
Step 4: Pepper your pucker with Delux lipstick in Vinnie.
Mission: Blue Swede
Although Cameron isn’t really of Nordic descent (her father and mother are Cuban-American and Anglo-German, respectively), she plays a fine Swede on the big screen. For Full-Throttle, Robin Fredriskz transforms the former model into an arctic fox by complementing her ice-blue peepers with shimmery shadow. To translate this reel-time look to the real world, leave skin and lips natural in almost-nude hues and focus on highlighting eyes with sheer celestial shades.
How to Get Cameron’s Look:
Step 1: Get glowing with Prescriptives Traceless Skin Responsive Tint in #2.
Step 2: Dab Benefit Cheekies in Gotta Crush On You on the apples of your cheeks.
Step 3: Sweep the blue eye shadow from Rocket City Alien Eyes Shadow Trio in Venus around your upper and lower lashes. Highlight the center of lids with the wintry white shadow from the same compact. Finish eyes with Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Black.
Step 4: Make lips luscious with Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling.
Prescriptives available at gloss.com
Benefit and Rocket City available at sephora.com

Mission: Sultry Shipmate
To find a top-secret pair of rings, the fearsome threesome performs some undercover work as Pussycat Doll-style burlesque dancers at a crooked club at the docks. To get Lucy Liu ready for her first cinematic striptease, beauty pro Erin Ayanian mixes retro sailor pinup with Vegas showgirl glitz for the former Ally McBeal star. Try Liu’s look at home with alluring batwing eyes and ripe, red lips. To amp up the megawatts on this look, try false lashes and carefully set adhesive swarovski crystals around your eyeliner. Whether you choose to play the coquette or the sexpot, this sexy little number is sure to fill up your dance card.
How to Get Lucy’s Look:
Step 1: Blend a small amount of Giorgio Armani Cosmetics Luminous Silk Foundation in #6 and #7 in your hands and smooth over skin. Conceal any problem areas with Giorgio Armani Skin Retouch in #6.
Step 2: Give cheeks a sexy post-coital glow with Nars Blush in Orgasm.
Step 3: Brush Stila Eye Shadow in Starlight over lids. Draw a fine line around peepers with Nars Liquid Liner in Angel Heart, ending with a “wing” at each corner. For extra sparkle, carefully place adhesive body crystals over the eyeliner after it has dried. Apply two layers of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Black.
Step 4: Color lips crimson with Kiehl’s Lip Paint in Red.
Mission: The Lady is a Vamp
Demi Moore’s fallen angel Madison Lee plays the heavenly trio’s nasty nemesis who seeks to eliminate anyone who stands in her way of money and mayhem. In the film, the one-time private eye goes from longboard lovely to diabolical diva – complete with a pair of 007-worthy golden guns. To bring out the twisted sister in Demi’s delicate features, makeup artists Jo Streitle and Bonita DeHaven focused on smoldering eyes that are as cruel as they are cool in shades of black and electric blue.
How to Get Demi’s Look:
Step 1: Smooth Stila liquid makeup in level C all over your face for fabulous, flawless skin.
Step 2: Dab Stila Convertible Color in Poppy onto the apples of your cheeks.
Step 3: Get the evil eye: Sweep M.A.C. Electric Eel Eye Shadow over your lids and Smut onto the outer corners. Line your top lashes with M.A.C. Liquid Liner in Boot Black. Next, accentuate the inner rims with M.A.C. Eye Kohl in Smolder. Slick Stila Eye Gloss in Electric Blue onto the center of each lid. Finish off peepers with several layers (the more the better) of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Black.
Step 4: Make your pout pop with Stila Convertible Color in Poppy. Dab a pinch of M.A.C. Clear Lipglass onto the center of your lips.
