It’s easy to get distracted in SoHo, what with the likes of Barney’s Co-Op, Vosges Haut Chocolat and Miu Miu beckoning your wallet from every corner. And now a new temptation is in town as Korres, our favorite Greek beauty brand, has opened its very first retail store on Wooster Street.
Drawing inspiration from “all things New York,” the design of the new Korres shop reflects the Greek brand’s trademark apothecary aesthetic, but modernized to reflect the urban energy of our fair city. In short, the store is study in contrasts, industrial yet luxurious at once.
New to the U.S. is the extensive line of Korres Color products, including matte & shimmering eyeshadows, lipsticks, foundations, concealers and more. In keeping with the homeopathic traditions embraced by the brand, the makeup formulas include ingredients like Greek flora herbs and fruit and flora oils. All products are free of potentially harmful ingredients like petroleum derivatives and propylene glycol.
Also new to the Korres lineup for fall is skincare formulated specifically for oily skin with imperfections and the Men’s Care Collection.
