Ma Dame by Jean Paul Gaultier is as complex as it is classic. A zesty burst of citrus is the signature of this sassy and flirtatious version of Gaultier’s classique Ma Dame parfum. Sweet yet subtle floral undertones augment fresh raspberry and pink grapefruit to embody the essence of a rebellious Parisian sophisticate: Mysterious, sensual and fun.

The image of “une fille masculine, un garcon feminine” (literal translation: “a masculine girl, a feminine boy”), personified in advertisements by British model Agyness Deyn – hint at the androgynous sensuality captured in the seductive bottle that is the signature of Gaultier scents.

This bottle, like the fragrance, embodies both classic and contemporary chic. Instead of capturing the scent in the usual bottle of bodacious curves, Ma Dame is contained in a square bottle with the impression of a shapely feminine silhouette and hot pink undertones. Perhaps the bottle is an ode to the harmonious and interchangeable feminine and masculine elements that the designer is notorious for defining (and bending) in every aspect of his fashion empire.

Ma Dame is certain to be a hit with the infamous Angeleno women who break barriers daily… as well as the ones who want to start. Whether considered an extrovert or not, Ma Dame is a tribute to the Parisian personality you want to expose at leisure.
