Little in Hollywood doesn’t revolve around award shows from January to March. Every year, the Golden Globes kicks off the season, rolling out the red carpet for the rest of the shows to follow. Publicists in tow with umbrellas, nominees and presenters make their way through the labyrinth of the Beverly Hilton hotel press line.
Before any of this commences, a select few receive special gifts behind-the-scenes celebrating their nominations from L’Oreal Paris.
In honor of the 10 leading ladies receiving nominations for Best Actress in a Film, Comedy and Drama, L’Oreal Paris and Carelle collaborated to create a stunning compact mirror plated in 18K yellow gold, embellished with precious citrine gemstones and pavé diamond shooting stars.
The shooting stars symbolize the honor L’Oreal Paris celebrated as a new “Friend of the Walk of Fame” on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
To honor the SAG Leading Female Actress film nominees, L’Oreal gifted exquisite 18K white gold plated compacts, filled with Blue Topaz stones and diamonds.
The Oscar winner for Best Leading Actress in a Film will receive the only compact of its kind, featuring light Amethyst Rose de France stones set in 18kt Rose Gold plated silver.
Some recipients of the 2010 compact collection already include Emily Blunt, Sandra Bullock, Helen Mirren, Gabourey Sidibe and Carey Mulligan.
This season, L’Oreal Paris also welcomed another shining star – new hair spokesperson Johnny Lavoy – with a cocktail party in his honor at the legendary Four Seasons’ Beechwood Suite.
