Standing out among the LA masses can sometimes feel like a challenge. The sidewalks are filled with healthy leggy blondes batting ocean blue eyes and pillowy lips. Some are even undoctored. New York City might be wear the models freely walk the streets, but here in Los Angeles is where the silver screen sirens and ambitious engénues roam.

The desire to have a makeup artist or stylist regularly on-hand has crossed wishful minds of many women. Some even have both on speed dial. For those of us who don’t, it’s comforting to have some products that feel uniquely meant for us.

A few products on the market come in one general colorless shade that adjusts to each wearer’s own complexion. Call it makeup with intuition or what you will, but we love this notion!

On the gloss front, pick up Jemma Kidd’s LIP ID COLOUR ADAPT GLOSS. The hi-tech formula reacts to individual PH lip levels to create a unique color match. Glides on clear and leaves lip in a hydrated natural pink. Pick it up at Target on La Brea in West Hollywood.

We also dig the O-GLOSS by Smashbox, as well as the O-PLUMP for the coveted bee stung look. Both made with a Goji Berry-C Complex, these intuitive blends work with skin chemistry to achieve just the right amount of pink.

The O-PLUMP is also formulated with Gingermint, Ginkgo Biloba, pomegranate seed antioxidants, revitalizing marine botanicals and moisturizing avocado oil, to achieve the smoothest plump possible

For bronzed summer cheeks, the Smashbox O-BRONZE Intuitive Cheek Bronzer gave each of us the right amount of glow. Even our more skeptical fair-skinned friends obtained just the right amount of peachy tint. Blended onto cheeks as a white cream, O-BRONZE transformed on each one of us to a custom sheer bronzed wash.

Ah, the beauty of individuality.
