Fashion Week has come to an end and after bidding adieu to Spring 08 with champagne wishes and caviar dreams, I can’t think of a better way to conclude my week than this year’s NY Brewfest.
I’m not talking frat boys and Busch Light, ladies-beer is becoming tres chic and brew-esque events like this are popping up all over the city. Might I suggest putting down your signature cocktail and expanding your palette with craft beer?
NY Brewfest’s 2nd annual event, hosted by NY State Brewers Association and Heartland (I heart Heartland) will be held on Friday, September 14th from 5-10pm at South Street Seaport and features a slew of NY State breweries and over hundreds of beer, as well as live music and barbecue. To me, this festival is the perfect way to kick off the fall season and I must say, when it comes to beer and BBQ-there’s no better way to this Midwestern girls heart.
