The hair and makeup of Alexandr Terekhov’s 2008 fall Terexov collection captures the subtle and natural beauty of a woman. Head hairstylist Eugene Toye from Rita Hazan salon describes the theme of the hair as raw, organic and above all natural. The minimal amount of product was added to keep the hair from being too contrived with simple, loose waves. A matte finish with a little hair spray was all that was needed. When asked for the essentials for fall, he explains all you need is a Mason Pearson brush, a baby bottle of Elnett hair spray and a great hair band accessory to finish off the look. This subtle look was also captured in the makeup.

Nadine Luke, the head makeup artist of MAC Cosmetics describes the look as quiet and soft. The eyes had a neutral tone with shades of light pinks. A nude eye paint created a smooth finish for the eyes. Eyeliner was only used to shape and frame the eye and a mineralized makeup captured the next to nothing look. The natural makeup was furthered by a nude lip conditioner which acted almost as a concealer that covered any natural color of the lip. The basic tones of the makeup and the organic feel of the hair together allow the Terexov’s line to speak for itself.
