Taste of Tennis Featured Doubles Team of 2007: |
The annual kickoff (or serve off?) to the U.S. Open combines food and tennis in the BNP Paribas Taste of Tennis. Some of the world’s greatest tennis players, like Jelena Jankovic, will work alongside celebrity chefs for an all-star culinary event at the W New York Hotel on August 21st. Emcee (and Extra host) AJ Calloway will lead the evening’s events.
This year’s featured doubles team will consist of one part Food Network’s Ingrid Hoffmann and one part Andy Roddick. There will also be a silent auction to benefit the Food Bank for New York City, which is a major supplier of food for approximately 1.3 million New Yorkers in need through their network of more than 1,000 food assistance programs throughout the five boroughs. |
