Plastic surgery and body modification themes were abound at the Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2012 show. The designers were heavily inspired from the film The Skin I Live In, and incorporated a natural and fresh, yet edgy and futuristic aesthetic.

For hair and makeup, a wet just-out-the-shower appearance was the main idea. M.A.C pros kept the skin bright and glowing with M.A.C sculpting cream in Copperbeach to shape the face and M.A.C cream colorbase in Luna applied to the top of the cheek for extra highlights. As naturally beautiful as the skin was, the eyes were the main attraction as they were ultra glossy and appeared to be wet. Probably not a wearable look for everyday, the wet-eye look is a fun way to add interest alone or on top of any eye shadow. To get the look, use M.A.C Pro mixing medium shine and apply over the eyelid or on top of already applied eyeshadow. (M.A.C cream color base in dark brown is shown in the photo.) Add a futuristic vibe by applying silver eyeliner to the inner corners of the eye.
