Bitter Sweet

Heads up BN readers! Mark September 14th on your calendar. Bring your sob stories, but leave your Kleenex behind. Mary Francis Moore, Alison Lawrence and Annabel Griffiths are going to show you how to get over the trauma of being given the shaft (yeah, we’ve all been there) by your significant other. Their new book, Bittergirl: Getting Over Getting Dumped, is a guide to surviving the heartache with grace and style.

Join this trio as they uncover the secrets of the Bittergirls’ Guide. I mean, if you’re going to get the brush off, do it in style…right? The girls will be meeting at 7pm for a no-charge event (seating IS limited though!) at the McNally Robinson Booksellers at 52 Prince Street (between Lafayette and Mulberry).

Author Rebecca Field Jagger says of the book, “Such a fun read you’ll almost want to get dumped. Wise, wicked, and wonderful.”

So let him (or her) “Slip out the back, Jack” or “Make a new plan, Stan”…armed with your very own copy of Bittergirls, you’ll have your head up and a smile on your face.
