This Saturday, April 8th, is the Power Brunch to beat all brunches! Acclaimed Chef Renee Blackman will be cooking up a storm to show off her fierce culinary skills at a Power Brunch downtown. Along with an array of savory brunch items, will be a variety of “Oh I shouldn’t, but I can’t resist” desserts, and wonderful liquid libations to pair up with everything.
Along with great food and drinks will be an interactive panel of movers and shakers. Motivational speaker and Life Coach Ayana Iman, will lead the panel of industry pioneers who will share their stories and inspiration. You’re surely gain some awe inspiring insights.
About these two talented women…
Chef Renee Blackman attended culinary school at age 16, where she excelled in technique and presentation. Her career has included many fine restaurants including Tommy Bahama restaurant, the Union Square Hospitality Group, the Delta Sky Club along with upscale private catering. And you may have caught her culinary skills demonstrated on the television show, Chopped.
Ayana Iman is an inspirational speaker and self-help blogger who believes in creating an attitude of gratitude. She studied journalism as an undergraduate and has a Masters in Strategic Organizational Communication from Rutgers University.
