One of this countries hardest working and most effective animal abuse charities, the ASPCA, needs your vote! The American Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals is in the running for a $250,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant. Pepsi is awarding monthly grants to organizations, people and non-profits that have a positive impact in communities across the US. Grants are awarded to the organizations that receive the most votes and only two can win in the ASPCA’s category. That’s some tough competition! |
The ASPCA would like to use their grant to furnish their Field Investigation And Response Team with funding that would include the purchase of an Animal Rescue Transport Vehicle. This team has done everything from help animals suffering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, to raiding abusive puppy mills, to bringing pets out of hoarding situations so that they can be placed in loving homes where they get the care and attention that they deserve.
Here’s what you do. Click on http://www.refresheverything.com/aspcarescue and cast your vote. You can even vote through your Facebook account. It’s that easy. I just did it and I will do it again tomorrow and each day through August 31st. There are five days left and you can vote everyday. Tell your friends to do it too! Spread the word and be the voice for animals everywhere. Every vote counts. Animals bring so much wonderful and unconditional love to our lives. It’s so important that we give back to them as well.
