City Pulse

By Allison Warenik-Queenan

As a woman with dry, thick hair, I need a pretty medium conditioner to keep my hair looking smooth and soft after the hot shower water and the heat of the hair dryer have done their worst to it. I would love to save some time in the morning, especially on a Monday like this one when my alarm failed to go off, but I haven’t found a two-in-one that I can depend on to actually condition, detangle and smooth my hair. Then I received a bottle of Pert Plus Medium.

I was skeptical. Obviously, I had heard of Pert Plus as it’s one of the more famous two-in-one brands. But I had never tried it out before. The product is lush and creamy and has an amazing scent. It lathers up immediately and easily rinses out cleanly. (Hint: give your hair a final cold water rinse. It really does help keep it smooth.) My comb slid easily through my wet hair and blow drying was a breeze. My hair was perfectly soft and conditioned. I love it! And I eliminated a step in the mornings. What can top that? My husband loves it too so I was able to eliminate some bottles from the shower.

Three lucky BN readers can try this trusty and true shampoo/conditioner. Send your name, address and phone number to [email protected] by Thursday, December 9th. Three winners will receive a full-size bottle of both bottle of Pert Plus Medium and Pert Plus Fresh.
