All hail the king Max Azria for introducing the infamous Herve Léger Bandage Dress into our lives. With the endless amount of colors, cuts and lengths, this dress is totally break the bank worthy in the eyes of any true fashion addict. Women everywhere are doing whatever it takes to get their hands on an original or one that looks strikingly similar. The style itself has really started a sexy new revelation in the fashion world as a whole. Whether it be to party like its 1999 or to have heads spin like the exorcist, next to the LBD the bandage dress is def an 09′ wardrobe staple. Elegant mixed with edgy the bandage dress gives off an effortlessly chic look.

The dress gained some serious popularity last December when actress Kate Winslet showed up to the premiere of her film, The Reader, knocking us all on our feet in her steel grey bandage dress. And well…our obsession has only gotten worse.

Being a girl on a budget myself, I love to find incredible designer goods for less wherever I can. OUTNET.com has become my new best friend for steals and mega deals, you can find tons of designer goods including several styles and colors of the Herve Léger Bandage dress for up to 50% off the original price. I’m actually breaking a slight sweat just typing about it!

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when searching for the bandage dress that’s right for you:

1. Do not, I repeat, do not let the shop girl talk you into a hemline or color that is not complementary to your shape.
2. Be brutally honest with yourself. There is no room for uncertainty.
3. Beware of the oh-so heinous panty line.
4. Remember the # 1 accessory for the bandage look is Confidence.
