City Pulse

Like they saying goes “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” and that’s basically how our current obsession for floral prints came to life this summer. Trying to cast a blind eye all spring was close to torture. Something about the abstract prints mixed with lively and vibrant color schemes was just too irresistible for words. There comes a point when a girl just caves and jumps on the first train to summer trend-ville. It started with a bathing suit, then a makeup case and the next thing you know my closet looks like it’s holding the Brooklyn botanical gardens hostage. Try this one from Topshop.

To avoid that 3rd grade chic look and to take your look from day to night, keep the floral trend sassy and sexy by adding an edgy ankle bootie or a harder yet sultry shoe. Something like these uber yummy Christian Louboutin Robot 120 ankle boots.

With open toe shoes and floral all around, don’t forget to keep those phalanges manicured to perfection. A vibrant polish will always liven up any ensemble. Try Essie’s new Flirty Fuchsia, the neon hue compliments floral prints like no other and as usual were addicted!
