As we approach mid-summer, the days are getting warmer and the clothing a bit more climate appropriate. We often suggest less is always more, but in this case we totally believe in “bigger is better” and more is more! Statement jewelry has been seen all over the place as of late and we’ve been following the trend since it hit the runways a few season ago. Patiently waiting for the trend to trickle down into to mainstream.

Stores like H & M, Forever 21 and Target are even selling amazing statement jewelry at affordable prices. Don’t get me wrong I spend hours and hours lusting over items that are way out of my price range like this gorgeous statement Lanvin necklace I spotted at Barney’s New York a few days ago.

Accessory trends seem to always find a way to out-do the trend before it. Mix statement jewelry with a plain dress or outfit and you can go from day to night in one step. Statement pieces can range from necklaces to rings, bracelets, earrings and even include shoes, handbags or belts, all used to complete your look.
