Though the weather outside is starting to get a bit frightful (Fall, where did you go?!), it doesn’t mean you’ve already got to start spending your weekends cooped up at home. Layer up and head over to the Cook. Eat. Drink. Live Festival in Chelsea this weekend.
Partially sponsored by Zagat, the festival will feature culinary celebrities, restaurants, tastings, live cooking demonstrations and holiday shopping. Taste sample dishes from The Oak Room, Telepan and The Little Owl. Share holiday party planning tips with Tanya Wenman-Steel, editor-in-chief of epicurious.com. Take a lesson in Wine 101 with Robert Mondavi and mix up some serious holiday cocktails with Leo Robitschek of Eleven Madison Park. Snatch up culinary gifts likee Harney & Sons Fine Teas, Food For Thought Trivia Challenge Game (think Trivial Pursuit for Foodies) and from Hot Blondies Bakery. |
Tickets are $65 for each day and can be purchased online at http://www.cookeatdrinklive.com or by calling 888.695.0888. A portion of the proceeds from the Cook. Eat. Drink. Live. Festival will go to support the programs offered by Action Against Hunger http://www.actionagainsthunger.org
