Gather up the BFF’s on Sept. 13th and have a Girl’s Night In.
Why? It’s Coco night! Nooooo, not hot cocoa, you clown. Coco Chanel, the made for TV movie about her rags-to-riches life, on Lifetime TV, starring Shirley MacLaine. Airs at 8:00pm.
Honestly, insider reviews and blogs don’t rave about the show. But hey, it’s about Chanel and its got Shirley, so it can’t be all bad now, can it? Just think of it as an aperitif to the film about her life being done by the French, debuting next year, starring France’s darling Audrey Tatou with clothes designed by Karl. Yes, that Karl!
What to pour for the BFF’s? What else but Little Black Dress Wine!
Little Black Dress Wines, available in Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and my fave, Pinot Noir not only have great looking bottles, but are actually nice wines. Recently named “Best New Wine” by Market Watch Magazine, and only ten bucks a bottle, it’s a sipping steal! And, as the Hollywood award season starts, LBD Wines is working with celebs like Tina Fey, Jane Seymour and Kim Cattrall, to name just a few, to donate their actual little black dresses to a charity auction which will benefit the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation.
So, stop all the whining about the show and drink up, at least the Little Black Dress is fab!
