There are some of us, like Health & Fitness Editor, Jasmin Guleria, who absolutely love brunch and then there are others, like myself, who enjoy the food but don’t have the energy to drag themselves out of bed and get to a restaurant before, lets say…2pm.

Enter, Permanent Brunch, an East Village restaurant dedicated to serving, you guessed it, brunch. Think buttermilk pancakes at 6, a brunch date at 8 or a juicy skirt steak with a sunny-side up egg at 11am or 11pm. You decide. Get your daily caffeine boost from a coffee milkshake and toss those traditional home fries aside for a starchy portion of duck fat fingerlings.

The eatery also features a separate section of the menu dedicated entirely to bacon! Featuring five different types, from sugar-cured smokehouse bacon out of Missouri to Hungarian smoked bacon from Illinois.

But if breakfast at dinner time isn’t really your thing, Permanent Brunch also serves everyone’s favorite meal on the weekends with the rest of Manhattan. So grab some hungry friends, no matter what day of the week or time of day it is and get the maple syrup flowing and the eggs cracking.
