Spring 09′ is by far one of the most extreme seasons to date, especially when it comes to which trends are ruling the streets of NYC. The runways have taken a surprising bi-polar turn for the better. From itty bitty minis to huge floral prints and monochrome days mixed with rainbow bright nights, shopping has become not only a fashion buffet, but a fun fiasco of moods and trends that can be suiting for just about everyone. Whether you love fashion or not its safe to say that it will be very hard to be caught on our fashion faux paux list.

With that said here are a few simple tips on how to keep it sassy and fresh all season long.

Boyfriend Look
Pulling the Boyfriend look off is all about looking effortless, almost as if you got dressed in your boyfriend’s closet. Loose fitting or distressed denim mixed with form fitting or structured tops and jackets is a great way to bring this trend to life. You can even try throwing a harem pant in the mix to help you climb the fashion charts this spring.

Ankle Cuff
It’s all about the ankle cuff for shows this season. The runways were graced with the presence of ankle-cuffed stilettos, adding a little something to any outfit. This spring staple should be at the top every shopping list this spring.

Crop Tops:
A fun tribute to the 90′s the crop top is back and in full effect. Popping up all over the spring 09′ runways, this look is laid back and leaves little room to the imagination. For those of you who are brave enough to channel your inner baby tee loving 8th grader, have fun and do it with pride!

Jumpsuits & Rompers:
Simple and sexy, without trying too hard is what you’ll get with this look, as well as a quick wardrobe fix. Getting ready can’t get any easier than throwing on a one piece and hitting the town. Make this look complete with bold accessories and a statement lip.
