Thanksgiving is approaching and all we can think about is good times with friends and family and good food. Our eyes are bulging with thoughts of turkey, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, and Aunt Nancy’s famous sweet potato pie. It all sounds so tasty until we think about possible spillage on our clothing to the food overload and not being able to fit into our clothes. With the help of BN, you won’t have to worry as we provide you with some tips on what to and what not to wear to your Thanksgiving dinner.
Light Colored Clothing |
Tight Clothing
This is a big no -no at Thanksgiving for those who plan to eat to your hearts content. Wearing tight pants or shirts will have you feeling more stuffed than the turkey. Opt for leggings or a boxy dress if your holiday is a bit more dressy. If you’re looking to bundle up but want to stay chic, try a sweater dress and some thick opaque tights for the epitome of chic comfortable.
What We’ll be Wearing
For a full belly we’re equipping our lower half with some leggings for their forgiving stretch. On top, a comfy boyfriend cardigan that will allow for movement when reaching across the table for seconds on mashed potatoes and be loose fitting enough to hide the…ahem…third helping of potatoes.
