Domaine Carneros’ Tees Support American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” Initiative

Cardiovascular disease claims more women’s lives than the next seven causes of death combined, nearly 500,000 a year, almost twice as many as cancer. To generate awareness of the disease and support the search for a cure, Domaine Carneros is selling beautifully designed limited-edition tees for women (from the well-known designer tee label, Velvet) that will benefit The American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign. The Tees are available online at http://www.domainecarneros.com for $40.00 with all proceeds from the sales going to the American Heart Association.

With plush fruit, richness, elegance and a long silky finish, Domaine Carneros’, highly acclaimed Pinot Noir was the inspiration for the tee’s design. The clever motif, Domaine Carneros’ ram logo in a circular arrangement lightly sprinkled with ruby and silver sparkles, draws from the ancient concept of energy chakras for an effect that both looks beautiful and radiates the idea that wine nourishes the spirit.

“In supporting the vitally important “Go Red for Women” campaign, we wanted to create something that is both beautiful and meaningful, expressing the connection between wine and well being.” says Eileen Crane, managing director and winemaker for Domaine Carneros. “Like a long walk on the beach, wine is smooth and relaxing and at the same time it’s vivid and energizing. The tee does a beautiful job of capturing that feeling.”

The Velvet Tee is offered in three gorgeous color combinations: saucy tomato red with a cooling blue design, azure blue with deeper blue design, and crisp white with a rich ruby red design. Each color is available in small, medium and large sizes.

Chantecaille & Free Arts

Each year, Chantecaille participates in the Free Arts Annual Art Auction Benefit. If you attend The Free Arts annual Polaroid Art Auction, you’ll find two of Chantecaille’s top makeup artists, manning their beauty stations – which are located just next to the Polaroid camera station (where guests have their photos taken as a momento of the evening). The artists retouch party-goers’ makeup pre-photo. Chantecaille also provides gift bags for guests. Bags typically include skincare samples of Biodynamic Lifting Cream, Stress Repair Concentrate, and Flower Harmonizing Cream.

Free Arts NYC is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the healing powers of the arts into the lives of abused, neglected and at-risk children and their families. Through all forms of art such as painting, dance, drama, writing, music, photography and other outlets of creativity, Free Arts volunteers help children and families express emotions, gain self-confidence and develop positive methods of communication. Since its inception in 1998, Free Arts has served 20,000 children and families through various creative art programs.
