Ranking very high on the designer footwear food chain, Jimmy Choo is a brand that every well-heeled, fashion-conscious woman aspires to wear. Now, this Wednesday afternoon, in celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the Jimmy Choo brand, founder and Chief Creative Office Tamara Mellon will be at Saks Fifth Avenue to personally introduce the first ever Jimmy Choo fragrance.

Tamara says, “Fragrance has always been part of my vision for Jimmy Choo. To fully extend the Jimmy Choo lifestyle, enveloping a woman with the sensuality and essence of the brand. I have always loved wearing perfume; it is part of my identity. Now to create a signature fragrance for Jimmy Choo expressing an aura of strength and beauty is my ultimate dream.” The scent is floral with a slight powdery finish, but it never comes across as too girly. It is a sophisticated scent for a woman who isn’t afraid to show her intelligence as well as her femininity. And it provides a much needed breath of fresh air in the midst of this harsh, dark winter.

On Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 from 12:30-1:00pm, come to Saks and purchase an Eau de Parfum and Tamara Mellon will personally sign your bottle. Meet the woman behind Jimmy Choo. An entrepreneur and roll model who ignited the Jimmy Choo dream in us all.
