Tory Burch’s luxurious Fall 2007 collection was put on exhibit Thursday night in a Chelsea loft looking over the Hudson river. The models sported elegant trench coats and shift dresses as they flowed through the loft to a stage, and posed like museum pieces. Guests mingled, sipped cocktails and observed a collection reminiscent of 1960′s Jackie-O style.

Bobbi Brown and her team transformed the models into jet setting marvels with rouge, glossy lips and rosy cheeks for a healthy natural glow. The use of full black eyelashes and dark liner complemented the deep earth-toned shades of eyeshadow: the combo made the eyes ‘pop.’ The makeup artists used Bobbi Brown makeup from her Stone Washed Nude Collection. “We were inspired by the look of Audrey Hepburn, but to make it a more modern look we used warm skin, with cool colors for the eyes,” says Bobbi Brown.

Aveda created a classical look for the models by teasing the hair lightly with a little volume and pulling it back to create a sleek natural appearance. The hair was inspired by French actress Catherine Deneuve. “The hair is very attainable by using Aveda volumizing tonic to tease, and a curling iron,” says a stylist.
The collection showcased an array of Fall wear consisting of plaid coats with signature Tory Burch gold emblems, cocktail dresses, and separates including wool blazers and trousers. The look was decidedly feminine intellectual.
