In the sixties, curly-haired women were forced to use clothing irons when they wanted to achieve a modern, straight-haired look. Now, four decades later, we’ve developed much more innovative ways to damage and harm our delicate hair with extremely high temperatures. From curling irons to blow dryers to hot rollers, it’s a wonder our parched tresses haven’t filed a restraining order against the heated products that we use on a regular basis.

Enter Got2b’s new product line, Guardian Angel. Developed by Schwarzkopf, a hair and cosmetic brand that has been in business for over a century, Guardian Angel protects hair from heated styling products that reach temperatures of up to 425 degrees. Scientific developers behind the creation of these formulas focused on the everyday heat-related damage that a woman’s hair is exposed to.

As unfortunate as it may be, many of us don’t have the time or convenience to forgo the curling, drying or straightening process. Thankfully, got2b has done it for us. Schwarzkopf developed three heavenly smelling spray formulas for three very specific styling goals. We were given the opportunity to test each product on our damaged hair – and were more than happy with the results.

425°F Heat Protect ‘N Flatten left our tresses sleek, flat and shiny. For us frizz-prone girls, this spray worked miracles – and helped us achieve that sleek Jennifer Aniston-like style.

425°F Heat Protect ‘N Curl worked perfectly for the bombshell in us. It helped our hair build and maintain lasting volume – even in high humidity. When using this spray, we were easily able to achieve all of those wavy and curly looks that are gracing the spring 2009 runways.

425°F Heat Protect ‘N Blow Out may have been our favorite of the Guardian Angel line. The spray was light and left our hair with a halo-like sheen. Like the rest of the sprays, this formula can easily be used every day for continuous protection.

So if you’re one of the 88% of women who use heated styling products on a daily basis, fret no more. For only $6, you can prevent your hair from undergoing further damage from heat. We’re sure that like us, you’ll agree that Got2b’s new Guardian Angel line is nothing short of divine intervention.
