Fashion, Photography, Philanthropy: The Humane Society of New York’s Fourth Benefit Photography Auction

On Thursday, June 13, 2013, from 6:00 to 9:00pm, the Marianne Boesky Gallery will host the Humane Society of New York’s Fourth Benefit Photography Auction. Actress and author – and now, first-time auctioneer, Alexandra Wentworth and husband George Stephanopoulos of ABC News will serve as event Chairs. Actress and animal activist Ali MacGraw will be a special guest and author and designer Cornelia Guest will be the evening’s Chairwoman.

The biennial fundraising event for New York City’s longest running charity organization has attracted international attention, providing the opportunity for passionate collectors to acquire rare-to-market photographs from the worlds most celebrated artists. The Marianne Boesky Gallery will be the backdrop for more than one hundred iconic photographs, while collectors and photographers from around the globe, celebrity HSNY supporters and the fashion elite gather for a night of philanthropic fulfillment. Vegan hors d’oeuvres inspired by Cornelia Guest’s new book on entertaining, Simple Pleasures will be served while attendees enjoy complementary cocktails.
