Holiday stress getting you frazzled? Feeling like the gift shopping experience is a jungle experience? Then take a little time out on the weekend to hang out with the real animals, and see how they truly enjoy getting their Christmas presents. Weekends in December at the Central Park Zoo features special feeding schedules.
Watch as polar bears Gus and Ida tear open their presents, featuring yummy peanut butter. Instead of decorating, the snow monkeys do the exact opposite. They un-decorate trees strewn with cranberries, apples, and oranges. You can also count on the red pandas hoping that Santa brings them some delicious bamboo.
Watch your favorite zoo critters unwrap and devour their holiday gifts during the annual Presents to the Animals events each weekend in December through Sunday 12/23.
