The Pixies are in town from Saturday, December 11th – 18th. They’re playing at the Hammerstein Ballroom. This is one amazing reunion tour. Every show is sold out. Check www.newyorkcraigslist.org if you want to go, you may be able to score a ticket. I wish you the best of luck! No, I don’t have a ticket either.

Rothko has Memphis and Andrew Kenny performing Saturday night. Memphis is a duo (Torquil Campbell and Chris Dumont), not a solo act. Andrew Kenny is the solo act, got that? Kenny’s got ballads, and Memphis is R&B mixed with electro, think Squarepusher. Check out the band’s website at (http://www.paperbagrecords.com/memphis.html)
Show starts at 10 P; tickets are $8 for the show.
