groove_dog.jpg Give from the heart and have a great time on Friday June 20th at Groovy Summer Grooming, a cocktail event to benefit Animal Haven in Soho. Enjoy yummy treats, goody bags and an auction, as well as bring your favorite accessory, your dog. It’s not often you can bring your favorite party animal with you. Also gracing the event will be Jorge Bendersky, one of the dog stylists on Animal Planet’s Groomer Has It. If you’re especially frisky that evening, wear your grooviest retro look, the hippest 60′s threads wins prizes. Yeah, baby – oh behave!

WHAT: Groovy Summer Grooming
WHEN: Friday June 20th, 7pm to 9pm
WHERE: Animal Haven Adoption Center and Boutique, 251 Center Street, Soho, 212.274.8511; Human tickets, $25; dogs under 15lbs, free. Purchase tickets at www.kibblenbark.com.
