The second annual “New York State of Wine” tasting event will be held Wednesday, February 2nd. Wines from eight of Long Island and Wine Country’s finest vineyards will be available for your delight. Of course, there will be live music and hors d’oeuvres.
All proceeds from the event will benefit StreetWise Partners (http://www.streetwisepartners.org), a non-profit organization that provides one-on-one job training and mentoring to low-income and/or unemployed individuals through 13 weekly skill-building sessions with volunteers from prominent organizations and corporations. The event is hosted and coordinated by the On Your Feet Project. It’s a national non-profit organization made up of young professionals dedicated to community involvement.
