Kiehl’s, one of the oldest and most trusted names in skin care, will be teaming up with Share Our Strength, a national nonprofit that is ending childhood hunger in America by connecting children with nutritious food they need to lead healthy, active lives. In an effort to raise money for Share Our Strength’s mission, on May 14th, the Kiehl’s freestanding store at 109 Third Avenue will be handing out complimentary 10.5 day supplies of Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate and donating $1.50 per customer visit to Share Our Strength (up to $10,500). |
To give you an additional boost of ever-so-helpful Vitamin C, Kiehl’s will also be providing complimentary oranges and orange juice at their Third Avenue store, all store customers that day will also be entered into two raffles for a Kiehl’s gift valued at $150. You can further help the cause by either making a $1 donation at the cash register, buying a baked treat from the Share Our Strength ambassadors present in the store, or, if you’re unable to visit but still wish to help feed children, make a tax-deductible online donation at http://www.kiehls.com. Kiehl’s will accept cash register donations through May 31 and online contributions through December 31st. Their goal is to raise at least $75,000 for Share Our Strength.
Share Our Strength (http://www.strength.org) is dedicated to eradicating childhood hunger in the United States, and believes that this can be done by 2015 by working with partners like Kiehl’s. By improving the access that families all across the country have to healthy, affordable food and by working at the state and city level, Share Our Strength aims to make sure that every child in America gets the nutritious food he or she needs to learn, grow and thrive.
