Among the physical and emotional tolls that cancer and cancer treatment take on patients, the one that’s hardest to quantify is the hit a patient takes to her self-esteem. To help female cancer patients better deal with the effects that cancer and its treatments tend to show, the Home Shopping Network (HSN) is partnering with Look Good…Feel Better, a free, non-medical, brand-neutral, national public service program that helps women with cancer manage their treatment and recovery with renewed spirit and greater confidence. Look Good…Feel Better has beauty specialists and consultants show cancer patients easy and effective techniques to help manage appearance side effects of their treatment.

When you purchase brand partner items from HSN, the channel will donate $5 to Look Good…Feel Better for every product sold. Eligible brands and dates: June 16: Elizabeth Arden, Benefit Cosmetics, or YBF. June 23: Couture Color, Elysee Cosmetics, and Korres. Shopping feels better when it’s for a cause, but if the brands don’t appeal to you and Look Good…Feel Better does, you can directly make a donation at http://www.hsn.com/look-good-feel-better_at-2502_xa.aspx?rid=2037.
