Next to ice cream, popcorn is one of my favorite snacks, so imagine my excitement when I learned that today, Jan 19th, is National Popcorn Day. Okay, I admit it – sometimes small things get me giddy.
In honor of this major day celebrating the kernel, Popcorn, Indiana will have teams popping about town and giving away free samples of their crunchy, light-as-air treat at the following times and places: |
9:00 – 11:00AM
Time Life Building, WSJ, Fox News – 6th Ave from 45th to 50th Streets
1:00 – 3:00 PM
Times Square – 7th Ave/Broadway from 42nd to 44th Streets, and Duffy Square
4:00 – 6:30PM
Penn Station – 7th Ave between 31st and 33rd Streets
Grand Central Station – 42nd Street between Lexington and Vanderbilt Avenues
