Bargain shopping has never seemed so good! But forget vintage stores like Cheap Jack’s and Resurrection – City Opera Thrift Shop’s Spring Preview is where it’s at. Stop by on Wednesday, February 13th to stock up on gorgeous, one-of-a-kind treasures for your wardrobe and home.
Some of the top designers can be found at this twice yearly sale. This one boasts names like Burberry, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore and even Carrie Bradshaw’s fave, Manolo Blahnik! The prices are none too shabby – snap up Manolos for $75-$125, a Diane Von Furstenberg blouse for $45, and a Luca Luca two-piece tweed suit for $150.
Now, we know what you’re thinking. A sale this good must have an entry fee, right? Wrong! This event is completely free and open to the public. General prices range from $25-$150 for costume jewelry, shoes, accessories, and men’s and women’s clothing; while home items are priced from as little as $5 to $1200.
And with wares like blouses, blazers, picture frames and even a baby grand piano by Baldwin (circa 1920 for $1200), you can bet there’s something here for everyone. So make it your duty to check out the event this Thursday. Who knows what riches might be in store!
