Question: What’s better than an ice cream cone?
Answer: A free one!
Tuesday, April 8th is Ben & Jerry’s Annual free cone day and you’re invited.
Hey, everyone’s invited!
It all started thirty five years ago when the two best friends, Ben & Jerry, couldn’t believe they were still in business after one year. And what better way to thank the community that supported them than to give away free ice cream? That started the annual tradition, and since then, every year all Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops around the universe give away free ice cream cones. So whether you’re in New York, LA, Paris, Japan or their hometown of Burlington, Vermont there’s a cone waiting just for you chock full of swirls and chunks. Prefer a cup? No problem.
The two swirl meisters like to take this day to remind us of their commitment to giving back, both locally and globally. They support local Vermont dairy farmers as well as having fair trade practices with their ingredient growers around the world. They also want to introduce you to their latest concoctions, guaranteed to make your taste buds do a happy dance. This year’s latest and greatest are:
Salted Caramel Blondie: Sweet cream ice cream with blonde brownies and a salted caramel swirl.
Hazed & Confused: Hazelnut and chocolate ice creams with fudge chips and a hazelnut fudge swirl
Cotton Candy: Cotton candy ice cream loaded with cotton candy pieces
