As we showed you in our October issue, beauty brands really have power to raise awareness about many different illnesses. With October as our busiest month because it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we tend to lose sight of other charities. Charities like Gilda’s Club.

Gilda’s Club was created to develop strategies and lead activities that will enable our worldwide group of independent affiliates to become the premier emotional and social support community for people with cancer and their families and friends.

Lierac Paris has teamed up with Gilda’s Club to promote a day of beauty steals. The contribution to Gilda’s Club NYC will be thanks to any Lierac product purchase in CVS or Duane Reade, today, Friday, 10/23 and Lierac will donate $1 to Gilda’s Club NYC.

“Lierac is proud to be working to raise funds for Gilda’s Club, an organization that acts as a true support system for thousands of cancer patients nationwide. By teaming up with beauty advisors across the country on October 23rd , Lierac will be raising awareness for the Gilda’s Club mission while helping women to achieve perfect skin.” Lierac Paris’ brand director, Jacqueline Flam.
